Multi-Scene Rezzer Instructions
- objects can be re-positioned and the rezzer remembers them.
- objects can be added/removed easily
- multiple scenes not working (yet)
- autoscan seems to work well, frequency of scan a bit slow
- seems some buttons are missing - "for sale" ?
Copied from rezzer for convenience ...
You must have mod and copy permissions for the objects
Or you could lose the objects permanently.
Highlights of this rezzer:
- Able to relocate rezzed objects in any way you like, the rezzer will remember their latest position even after derez or reset.
- One click to rez/derez scene/theme (you must have MOD and COPY permissions!).
- Group, public, or remote access, great for landlords and store owners
- Able to store ~ 100 objects. The actual number of objects that can be stored may vary depending on the memory usage.
- When unlocked, objects move/rotate with rezzer box. When locked, rezzer can be moved to any location in the same region.
- Always On/Auto Scan modes: Objects remain visible 24/7 or No show when no one is around!! Variable scan distance (5 ~ 96m).
- Add/remove objects on the fly without interrupting the already rezzed objects.
- Create complex rezzer system by rezzing other rezzers (e.g., Zeroprim and EZ-Pack).
- Modify the rezzed objects on the fly via SL Viewer's "Save Object Back to Object Contents" feature.
Object pins that come with this package:
---------------------------------------------
1. Multi-Scene Object Pin: For any object to be stored in the rezzer except doors and windows that constantly change their position. Rezzer will keep track of their locations.
2. Multi-Scene Dynamic Pin: For doors and windows that have to constantly change their position, or vehicles such as cars, boats, and airplanes. Rezzer will not keep track of their locations.
3. Multi-Scene Vehicle Pin: For moving objects that require to cross region border.
To store objects into the rezzer:
----------------------------------
1. Drag a Multi-scene rezzer from your avatar's inventory onto the floor where the objects you like to store and the rezzer are in the same region. If the items or the houses are rezzed from its default rezzer such as Rez Faux rezzer, make sure you click "Store" or "Save" button to remove the default script from the object.
2. Drag the script "Multi-Scene Object Pin v3.4.6" from your avatar's inventory and drop onto each object. (The script should go to the root prim of the same object by itself, otherwise an error message will show up). If the pin script detects more than one rezzer in the region, you will be asked to make selection from a pop-up menu. Alternatively, you can turn off "Pin Sync" on other rezzers. You should rename your rezzer to make your selection easier.
3. A message should appear, indicating a multi-scene rezzer has been found. If you do not see such message, it means "Pin Sync" feature on the rezzer could has been turned off or the rezzer is not in the same region.
4. Reposition the object if necessary.
5. TAKE OBJECTS BACK TO YOUR INVENTORY ONE BY ONE, DO NOT TAKE OBJECTS BACK AS A GROUP.
6. Transfer the objects from avatar's inventory into Rezzer's content. Alternatively, you may press CTRL key while dragging the objects from inventory and move them over to the rezzer. Rezzer should reload itself if "Inv Sync" is ON.
7. Edit the .Scene notecard. See the following section for more details.
Define scene buttons and the corresponding objects (v3.6.0 and later)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In this section, you will assign objects in rezzer's content to each scenes that you created. There are a few things you should know:
1. Scenes are declared inside the /*[ ]*/ bracket. Their names will appear as buttons on rezzer's menu so please keep them shorter than 24 letters.
2. Scene names are arbitrary so you can create your own.
3. The objects assigned to a particular scene should be listed in the following lines.
4. The object names are CASE sensitive.
For example, to create a new scene called "Example 1" on the notecard, assuming three objects should be rezzed for this scene, copy the names of all three objects and paste them to the next line, one object in each line only. Although object names are case sensitive, it is okay to leave spaces before or after them.
/*[Example 1]*/
object 1
object 2
object 3
/*[Example 2]*/
object 4
object 5
object 6
Simply expand the number of the scenes and objects as you see fit. Same objects may be assigned to more than one scene!
/*[Example 1]*/
object 1
object 2
object 3
/*[Example 2]*/
object 1
object 2
object 3
object 4
object 5
5. To comment out any object, simply add # at the beginning of the line containing the object. For example, if you like to prevent object 3 from showing in "New scene1" scene.
/*[New scene1]*/
object 1
object 2
#object 3
6. Using this method, you can add comments for the scenes you created.
#
# Your comment is here!
#
/*[New scene1]*/
object 1
object 2
# this comment will remind me why object 3 is commented out!
#object 3
7. To temporarily hide a particular scene without removing the entire scene, simply add keyword "hide" without the quotes at the end of the scene bracket /*[ ]*/.
/*[New scene1]*/ hide
object 1
object 2
object 3
8. What if you have too many object names to copy? No problem. Click the "OBJ List" button in Options menu and copy their names from your open chat window and paste them on the notecard. Here is the example:
/*[My New Scene]*/
[09:08] Multi-Scene Rezzer v3.6.0 (M/C/T): |> Object
[09:08] Multi-Scene Rezzer v3.6.0 (M/C/T): |> Object 1
[09:08] Multi-Scene Rezzer v3.6.0 (M/C/T): |> Object 2
[09:08] Multi-Scene Rezzer v3.6.0 (M/C/T): |> Object 3

2. While the object is selected, select "Save Object Back to Object Contents" from Viewer's "Tools" dropdown menu (or SL Viewer 2.x's "Build" dropdown menu).
3. Select "*Remove" on rezzer's menu and then rez your objects again.
4. Verify your results.
----------------------------------
To sell or transfer rezzed items
----------------------------------
1. You don't have to do anything on the rezzer to enable selling your items but you must have transfer permission for the items you like to sell.
2. Click "For Sale" checkbox on the Edit window of the items and set your sale price.
3. Change the default mouse cursor for "When Left-Clicked" to "Buy object".
4. Remember to save your change to the rezzer using Viewer's "Save Object Back to Object Contents" feature.

Owner's feature:
------------------
-Select "Options" on the menu to access the following functions:
1. Lock/Unlock: lock or unlock items at the regional location relative the current rezzer position.
2. Access: Toggle owner, group, all and rental access. The default is owner.
3. Always on: Objects remain visible 24/7.
4. Auto scan: Objects only appear when avatar is detected. Select "Remote Sensor" to put rezzer to listen to a paired remote sensor.
5. Reset: Reset rezzer when rezzer does not appear to be working correctly.
6. Hide/Unhide: Hide or unhide the rezzer. Please note that when rezzer is invisible, Pin sync will be turned off.
7. Pin Sync: Manually enable/disable object pin communication. If it is on, the object pin will sync with the rezzer when a new Pin script is being inserted in the objects.
8. Inv Sync: Turn Inventory self-checking On/Off. When on, the rezzer will synchronize the inventory when you update the inventory.
9. Pos Sync: Turn position synchronization On/Off. When it is on, rezzer will remember the new location of the rezzed objects you manually relocate.
10. OBJ List: Display a list of the objects in the content. You may copy & paste them onto .Scene notecard.
Remote control:
-----------------
1. Place the remote control within 20 meter distance of the Multi-scene rezzer that you would like to control.
2. When successfully connected, a message "The remote Multi-scene Remote Control is ready to use." will appear.
3. Take the remote back to your inventory. Now you may place the paired remote any where in the SIM.
4. Please note that the remote only recognizes the rezzer by its UUID and therefore when the rezzer is removed from the SIM, you will have to pair them again.
5. The .Guest notecard inside the remote control defines who are able to access your rezzer. To enable access control via remote control object remember to set access control to "Rental" by clicking the "Access" button on the Options menu. To allow any group member or anyone to access the remote control without restriction, simply remove the .Guest notecard.
Remote sensor:
-----------------
You may use the remote sensor to replace the rezzer's built-in sensor, so the rezzer may be located at different place on the same SIM.
1. Select "Remote Sen" from the Auto scan menu on the Options menu.
2. Rez the Remote Sensor Object within 20 m of your multi-scene rezzer.
3. Once the sensor is connected to the rezzer, you may take the remote sensor back and place it at any location of the same SIM.
4. Touch the sensor for a menu and turn the sensor on. You may also change detection range, hide/show, and access rezzer menu.
Rental support (requires the optional rental package)
------------------------------------------------------
Starting v3.4.9, Multi-scene rezzer supports optional rental package, allowing you to designate
who can access to rezzer's menu and when a scene will be rezzed.
1. Select "Remote Sen" from the Auto scan menu. This will put rezzer under remote control.
2. Click "Access" button on the Options menu to activate access control for "Rental".
3. Refer to the instructions of the rental controller object for details.
Complex Rezzing (Nested rezzing) & nested rezzer state (beginning v3.5.3)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Multi-scene rezzer may rez other Machess rezzers such as Zeroprim Rezzer, EZ-Pack Rezzer, or multi-scene rezzer
1. Simply treat rezzer like regular object and prepare it for the multi-scene rezzer
2. Multi-scene rezzer now supports one nested rezzer state. The rezzing state of nested rezzer will be stored in the multi-scene rezzer. No need to rez/select scenes after derez or sensor kicks in.
Feedbacks or comments, please send them to Machess Lemton.
